The titans of the north. In this series, I approach the high peaks as ancient, sculptural sentinels. I am not interested in the "grandeur" of the postcard view; instead, I search for the rugged geometry of the rock and the way the stone interacts with the ephemeral veil of the clouds.
These are character studies of the earth itself. I wait for the moments where the light isolates a single ridge or a jagged spire, turning the mountain into a solitary totem of endurance. It is a quiet dialogue between the weight of the geology and the lightness of the air.
Through meticulous framing and a focus on verticality, I challenge the viewer to see the mountain not as a destination, but as a profound, architectural presence. These are monuments carved by ice and time, standing in a state of eternal, veiled solitude.
