Veiled solitude
There is a profound clarity that only arrives when the world is obscured, the inconsequential elements of it. In the embrace of the fog, the familiar landmarks and clear markings slowly dissolve.
This collection is an exploration of that quiet space where the mind and soul meet. It is a study of presence through absence, feelings influenced by paintings of masters of European romanticism, fused with Japanese painting schools.
Some of images invite you to linger in the soft charcoal edges and the weightless whites, embracing the beauty of being alone without being lonely. Others, focus on grace and elegance of one standing against the soft empty void. Some are monochromatic, some are in color, yet, among all, in the hush of the mist, we find the peace to simply be.
Personal Favorites
Somewhat eclectic collection of my favorite images from the last years. They are not always the best images technically or even aesthetically, but they are my favorites. Sometimes they relate to particular memories and other people.
